Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the shallots and garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink and are cooked through.
  4. Add the sliced chili peppers and stir-fry for a minute.
  5. Add the stink beans (petai) and diced tomato, and continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together lime juice, fish sauce, sugar, and salt.
  7. Pour the sauce mixture into the pan and stir well to coat the ingredients.
  8. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly.
  9. Remove from heat and serve hot with steamed rice.
