- Cooking oil - 2 tablespoons
- Holy basil leaves - 1 cup
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Fish sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Thai chilies - 2-3, finely chopped
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Ground pork - 500 grams
Let's Get Started
- Heat the oil in a wok or large frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the garlic and chilies and stir-fry for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
- Add the ground pork and break it up into small pieces with a spatula. Cook until no longer pink.
- Add the fish sauce, soy sauce, and sugar. Stir well to combine.
- Add the holy basil leaves and stir-fry for another minute, until the basil is wilted and the pork is well coated with the sauce.
- Serve hot with steamed rice.
