Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Boil the pork belly in a pot of water for 20 minutes, then remove and let it cool.
  2. Slice the cooled pork belly into thin pieces.
  3. Heat the oil in a wok over high heat, then add the pork belly and stir-fry until it's browned and crispy.
  4. Remove the pork belly from the wok and set it aside.
  5. In the same wok, add the garlic, ginger, and Sichuan peppercorns and stir-fry until fragrant.
  6. Add the bell peppers and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
  7. Return the pork belly to the wok, then add the soy sauce, black bean sauce, and sugar.
  8. Stir-fry everything together for another 2 minutes, then serve.
