Salt and Vinegar Chips
Homemade crispy and tangy salt and vinegar chips that are perfect for snacking.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Vegetable oil - For frying
- Salt - 1 tablespoon
- White vinegar - 1 cup
- Potatoes - 2 large
Let's Get Started
- Slice the potatoes thinly using a mandoline or sharp knife.
- In a large bowl, combine the vinegar and salt. Add the potato slices and let them soak for at least 2 hours.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot or deep fryer to 375°F.
- Drain the potato slices and pat them dry. Fry them in batches until they are golden and crispy, about 3-5 minutes.
- Drain the chips on paper towels and let them cool before serving.
