Salame de Chocolate is a delicious Portuguese dessert that combines chocolate, cookies, and nuts into a salami-shaped treat.

- Port wine - 2 tablespoons
- Chopped nuts - 50 grams
- Maria biscuits - 200 grams, crushed
- Eggs - 2
- Granulated sugar - 100 grams
- Unsalted butter - 100 grams
- Dark chocolate - 200 grams
Let's Get Started
- Melt the chocolate and butter together in a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water.
- In a separate bowl, beat the sugar and eggs together until well combined.
- Slowly pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, stirring constantly.
- Add the crushed Maria biscuits, chopped nuts, and Port wine to the chocolate mixture and stir until well combined.
- Pour the mixture onto a piece of cling film and shape it into a log.
- Wrap the log tightly in the cling film and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
- Once firm, unwrap the chocolate salami and slice it into rounds before serving.
