Sake Steamed Mussels

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the garlic and ginger, and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add the sake, soy sauce, and half of the scallions, and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add the mussels, cover the pot, and steam for about 5 minutes, or until the mussels have opened.
  5. Discard any mussels that have not opened.
  6. Serve the mussels in bowls, topped with the remaining scallions.
