Sake Steamed Clams

- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Scallions - 2, sliced
- Ginger - 1 inch, peeled and sliced
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Sake - 1 cup
- Clams - 2 pounds, cleaned
Let's Get Started
- In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and ginger, and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the sake and bring to a boil.
- Add the clams, cover the pot, and steam for about 5-7 minutes, until the clams open.
- Discard any clams that do not open.
