- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons

- Ginger - 1 inch piece, grated

- Yogurt - 1 cup
- Lamb - 500 grams, cut into pieces

- Marinate the lamb in the yogurt, garlic, ginger, chilli powder, garam masala, cumin, coriander, and salt for at least 2 hours, or overnight if possible.
- Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the marinated lamb to the pan and cook until browned on all sides.
- Add the tomato puree and stir well to combine.
- Cover the pan and simmer for about 2 hours, or until the lamb is tender and the sauce has thickened.
