Roasted Duck

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Rinse the duck inside and out, and pat dry. Cut off tail and discard.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, and minced garlic. Rub this mixture all over the duck, inside and out.
  4. Stuff the duck with the rosemary, thyme, and quartered orange.
  5. Place the duck, breast side up, on a rack in a roasting pan.
  6. Roast the duck in the preheated oven for about 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let the duck rest for 15 minutes before carving and serving.
