Ribeye Steak with Gorgonzola Sauce
A juicy ribeye steak served with a rich and creamy gorgonzola sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Gorgonzola cheese - 1/2 cup, crumbled
- Heavy cream - 1/2 cup
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Ribeye steak - 2 (8 ounce) steaks
Let's Get Started
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and cook to your desired level of doneness, about 4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove the steaks from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the heavy cream and gorgonzola cheese to the skillet. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Return the steaks to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, until the steaks are heated through.
- Sprinkle the steaks with the chopped parsley before serving.
