Reuben Burger
A delicious twist on the classic Reuben sandwich, this burger is packed with flavor and is perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Rye buns - 4
- Thousand island dressing - 1/4 cup
- Sauerkraut - 1 cup, drained
- Swiss cheese - 4 slices
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Ground beef - 1 pound
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Season the ground beef with salt and pepper and form into 4 patties.
- Grill the patties for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- Top each patty with a slice of Swiss cheese and continue to grill until the cheese is melted.
- Spread the Thousand Island dressing on the bottom half of each bun.
- Place the patties on the buns and top with the sauerkraut.
- Butter the top half of each bun and place on top of the sauerkraut.
