Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper and form into 4 patties.
  3. Grill the patties for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  4. Top each patty with a slice of Swiss cheese and continue to grill until the cheese is melted.
  5. Spread the Thousand Island dressing on the bottom half of each bun.
  6. Place the patties on the buns and top with the sauerkraut.
  7. Butter the top half of each bun and place on top of the sauerkraut.
  8. Serve the burgers hot with your favorite side dish.
