  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  4. Bake for 45 minutes.
