Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a large pan, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until the meat is browned and the onions are soft.
  4. Add the tomato paste, wine, cinnamon, allspice, salt, and pepper to the pan and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. In a separate pot, melt the butter and add the flour, stirring until smooth.
  6. Gradually add the milk to the pot, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
  7. Remove the pot from the heat and slowly add the beaten eggs and Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth.
  8. Layer half of the pasta in a baking dish, followed by the meat sauce, the remaining pasta, and finally the béchamel sauce.
  9. Bake for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
