Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Heat the mustard oil in a pan until it starts to smoke. Then, turn off the heat and let it cool down.
  2. Once the oil is cooled, turn on the heat again and add the chopped onions. Fry until they turn golden brown.
  3. Add the ginger and garlic paste to the pan and sauté for a few minutes.
  4. Add the mutton to the pan and cook on high heat for 5-7 minutes, until it turns brown.
  5. Add the red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt to the pan and mix well.
  6. Beat the yogurt and add it to the pan. Cook for another 5-7 minutes.
  7. Cover the pan and cook on low heat for 40-45 minutes, until the mutton is tender and the flavors are well combined.
  8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
