Ragi Dosa
Ragi Dosa is a healthy and delicious Indian crepe made with ragi flour and urad dal. It's a perfect breakfast or dinner option.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Oil - For cooking
- Water - As required
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Urad dal - 1/2 cup
- Ragi flour - 1 cup
Let's Get Started
- Soak urad dal in water for 4-5 hours.
- Drain the water and grind the urad dal to a smooth paste.
- In a separate bowl, take the ragi flour. Add the urad dal paste and salt to it. Mix well.
- Add water as required and make a batter of pouring consistency.
- Cover the batter and let it ferment for 8-10 hours.
- Heat a dosa pan or griddle. Pour a ladleful of batter and spread it in a circular motion.
- Drizzle some oil around the edges and cook until the dosa turns golden brown.
- Flip the dosa and cook on the other side.
- Serve the ragi dosa hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
