Ragi Dosa

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Soak urad dal in water for 4-5 hours.
  2. Drain the water and grind the urad dal to a smooth paste.
  3. In a separate bowl, take the ragi flour. Add the urad dal paste and salt to it. Mix well.
  4. Add water as required and make a batter of pouring consistency.
  5. Cover the batter and let it ferment for 8-10 hours.
  6. Heat a dosa pan or griddle. Pour a ladleful of batter and spread it in a circular motion.
  7. Drizzle some oil around the edges and cook until the dosa turns golden brown.
  8. Flip the dosa and cook on the other side.
  9. Serve the ragi dosa hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
