Let's Get Started

  1. Clean the octopus and remove the beak and eyes. Rinse well.
  2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the octopus, dipping it in and out of the water three times before leaving it in the pot to cook.
  3. Boil the octopus for about 45 minutes, or until it is tender when pierced with a fork.
  4. While the octopus is cooking, boil the potatoes until they are tender. Drain and set aside.
  5. Once the octopus is cooked, remove it from the water and let it cool.
  6. Cut the octopus into bite-sized pieces and arrange it on a platter with the potatoes.
  7. Drizzle the octopus and potatoes with olive oil, then sprinkle with paprika and sea salt.
  8. Serve the Pulpo a Feira warm.
