Let's Get Started

  1. Season the pork shoulder with salt and pepper.
  2. Place the pork shoulder in a slow cooker.
  3. In a bowl, combine the barbecue sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and garlic. Pour over the pork shoulder.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or until the pork is tender and pulls apart easily with a fork.
  5. Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred with two forks.
  6. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and stir to combine with the sauce.
  7. Serve the pulled pork on the mini buns, topped with coleslaw.
