Beef Short Rib Sandwiches
Tender, slow-cooked beef short ribs piled high on a toasted bun. Perfect for a hearty lunch or dinner.

- Coleslaw - To serve
- Buns - 4
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Beef broth - 2 cups
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1 large, chopped
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Beef short ribs - 2 pounds
Let's Get Started
- Season the short ribs with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the short ribs and brown on all sides, about 5 minutes.
- Remove the short ribs from the pot and set aside.
- In the same pot, add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Return the short ribs to the pot. Add the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 2-3 hours, or until the beef is tender.
- Remove the short ribs from the pot and shred the meat with two forks.
- Toast the buns and pile the shredded beef on top. Serve with coleslaw on the side or on top of the beef.
