Beef Short Rib Sandwiches

Let's Get Started

  1. Season the short ribs with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the short ribs and brown on all sides, about 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the short ribs from the pot and set aside.
  4. In the same pot, add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  5. Return the short ribs to the pot. Add the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 2-3 hours, or until the beef is tender.
  6. Remove the short ribs from the pot and shred the meat with two forks.
  7. Toast the buns and pile the shredded beef on top. Serve with coleslaw on the side or on top of the beef.
