Let's Get Started

  1. In a large pot, heat some oil and sauté the garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  2. Add the prawns and cook until they turn pink and are cooked through.
  3. Remove the prawns from the pot and set aside.
  4. In the same pot, add the chicken broth, soy sauce, fish sauce, and chili flakes. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce the heat and let the broth simmer for 15 minutes to develop the flavors.
  6. Meanwhile, cook the rice noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  7. Once the broth is ready, season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. To serve, divide the cooked noodles into bowls and ladle the hot broth over them.
  9. Top with the cooked prawns, bean sprouts, spring onions, and cilantro.
  10. Squeeze some lime juice over each bowl and serve hot.
