Prawn Curry
A delicious, spicy prawn curry with a rich, flavorful sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Coriander leaves - For garnish
- Salt - To taste
- Coconut milk - 1 cup
- Curry powder - 2 tablespoons
- Tomatoes - 2 large, finely chopped
- Ginger - 1 inch piece, grated
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1 large, finely chopped
- Prawns - 500 grams, peeled and deveined
Let's Get Started
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the onion, garlic, and ginger and sauté until the onion is soft and golden.
- Add the tomatoes and curry powder and cook until the tomatoes are soft and the spices are well blended.
- Add the prawns and cook until they turn pink.
- Add the coconut milk and salt and simmer for 10 minutes, until the sauce is thick and creamy.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice.
