Prairie Grain Coffee
A warm and comforting coffee alternative made with a blend of prairie grains and spices.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Milk - 1/4 cup
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Cardamom - 1/4 teaspoon
- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Water - 2 cups
- Prairie grain blend - 2 tablespoons
Let's Get Started
- In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the prairie grain blend, cinnamon, and cardamom to the boiling water.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it steep for another 5 minutes.
- Strain the mixture into mugs, discarding the grains and spices.
- Stir in honey and milk to taste.
