Pomegranate and Walnut Oatmeal
A hearty and healthy oatmeal dish with the sweet tang of pomegranate and the crunch of walnuts.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Honey - 2 tablespoons
- Walnuts - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Pomegranate seeds - 1/2 cup
- Milk - 2 cups
- Rolled oats - 1 cup
Let's Get Started
- In a medium saucepan, bring the milk to a boil.
- Stir in the oats and reduce the heat to a simmer. Cook the oats, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes.
- Stir in the honey and cinnamon.
- Divide the oatmeal between two bowls. Top each with half of the pomegranate seeds and chopped walnuts.
- Serve warm.
