This classic Canadian dish features crispy french fries topped with cheese curds and smothered in rich gravy.

- Salt - To taste
- Vegetable oil - 4 cups, for frying
- Beef gravy - 2 cups
- Cheese curds - 2 cups
- Potatoes - 4 large, russet
