Ingredients - Serves 4
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Brown sugar - 1/2 cup
- Orange juice - 1 cup
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Pork tenderloin - 1 pound
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Season the pork tenderloin with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork and sear on all sides until browned.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast for 20 minutes, or until the pork is cooked through.
- While the pork is roasting, make the orange glaze. In a small saucepan, combine the orange juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, and garlic. Bring to a simmer.
- In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with a little water to make a slurry. Stir into the saucepan and cook until the glaze has thickened.
- Remove the pork from the oven and let rest for a few minutes. Slice and serve with the orange glaze.
