Pork Stir Fry
This delicious pork stir fry is packed with flavor and colorful vegetables.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Cooking oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Water - 1/4 cup
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 4, sliced
- Snow peas - 1 cup
- Carrots - 2, julienned
- Bell peppers - 2, sliced
- Broccoli - 2 cups, florets
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Pork tenderloin - 1 pound, thinly sliced
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, marinate the sliced pork tenderloin with soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Heat cooking oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
- Add the marinated pork and stir fry until cooked through, about 5 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the broccoli, bell peppers, carrots, and snow peas. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes, until the vegetables are crisp-tender.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to make a slurry.
- Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet and pour the cornstarch slurry into the empty space. Cook for 1 minute, until the sauce thickens.
- Add the cooked pork back into the skillet and toss everything together to coat in the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot.
