Pollo Alla Diavola
Pollo alla Diavola is a spicy Italian grilled chicken dish that is full of flavor and perfect for a summer barbecue.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Fresh rosemary - 2 sprigs, chopped
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Red pepper flakes - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Lemon - 1, juiced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Chicken - 1 whole, cut into pieces
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, black pepper, and chopped rosemary to make a marinade.
- Place the chicken pieces in a large ziplock bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and massage the marinade into the chicken to coat evenly. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight in the refrigerator.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the excess marinade.
- Grill the chicken pieces for about 15-20 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken is cooked through.
- Remove from the grill and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve the Pollo alla Diavola with your favorite side dishes and enjoy!
