  1. Season the short ribs with salt, pepper, and minced garlic.

  3. Remove the short ribs from the skillet and set aside.

  5. Return the short ribs to the skillet, add the beef broth and rosemary sprigs.
  6. Cover the skillet, reduce the heat to low, and simmer for about 3 hours, or until the short ribs are tender.
  7. Serve the short ribs with the cooking juices drizzled over the top.
