  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the onions and cook until caramelized, about 20 minutes.
  4. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to fit a baking sheet.
  5. Transfer the dough to the baking sheet and prick it all over with a fork.
  6. Spread the caramelized onions evenly over the dough.
  7. Arrange the anchovy fillets and black olives on top of the onions.
  8. Sprinkle with thyme, salt, and pepper.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
