Let's Get Started

  1. Heat the cooking oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Saute the garlic, onion, and ginger until fragrant.
  3. Add the bitter melon, eggplant, okra, string beans, squash, and tomato. Stir-fry for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the shrimp paste and water. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve hot with steamed rice.
