Philly Cheese Steak and Bacon Sandwich
This mouthwatering sandwich combines tender beef, crispy bacon, and melted cheese for the ultimate indulgence.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- Hoagie rolls - 2
- Provolone cheese - 4 slices
- Green bell pepper - 1, thinly sliced
- Onion - 1 large, thinly sliced
- Bacon - 4 slices, cooked crispy
- Ribeye steak - 8 ounces, thinly sliced
Let's Get Started
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the thinly sliced ribeye steak. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and green bell pepper. Cook until softened and slightly caramelized, about 5 minutes.
- Slice the hoagie rolls in half lengthwise and spread mayonnaise on one side of each roll.
- Layer the cooked steak, bacon, sautéed onions, and green bell peppers on the bottom half of each roll.
- Top with provolone cheese slices and place the sandwiches under the broiler for 1-2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the broiler and place the top half of the hoagie rolls on each sandwich.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
