Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Soak the green gram and rice in water for 8 hours or overnight.
  2. Drain the water and grind the soaked green gram and rice along with ginger and green chillies to a smooth batter.
  3. Add salt to the batter and mix well.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan and pour a ladle full of batter. Spread it in a circular motion to make a thin dosa.
  5. Sprinkle some chopped onions on top and press gently with the spatula.
  6. Drizzle some oil around the edges and cook until the bottom side turns golden brown.
  7. Flip the dosa and cook for another minute.
  8. Serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
