Ingredients - Serves 4
- Hoagie rolls - 4
- Provolone cheese - 4 slices
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1, sliced
- Bell peppers - 2, sliced
- Steak - 1 pound, thinly sliced
Let's Get Started
- Season the steak with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the steak and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the bell peppers, onion, and garlic. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
- Return the steak to the skillet and stir to combine with the vegetables.
- Place a slice of provolone cheese on each hoagie roll. Divide the steak and vegetable mixture among the rolls.
- Place the sandwiches on a baking sheet and broil until the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 2 minutes.
