Let's Get Started

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the beef and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the bell peppers, onion, and garlic. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, cornstarch, and black pepper.
  6. Return the beef to the skillet and add the soy sauce mixture. Stir well to coat the beef and vegetables in the sauce.
  7. Cook for another 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
  8. Serve the pepper steak over rice or noodles, if desired.
