Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut a pocket into each chicken breast, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  3. Stuff each chicken breast with a slice of ham, a slice of cheese, and some chopped bell peppers.
  4. Secure the opening with toothpicks to keep the stuffing inside.
  5. Season the outside of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  6. Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
  7. Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes per side.
  8. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the middle.
  9. Remove the toothpicks before serving.
