Pasta Alfredo with Chicken
Creamy and delicious pasta Alfredo with tender chicken pieces.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Parmesan cheese - 1 cup, grated
- Heavy cream - 1 cup
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Butter - 4 tablespoons
- Pasta - 8 ounces
- Chicken breast - 2, boneless and skinless
Let's Get Started
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
- Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes. Slice the chicken into thin strips.
- In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet. Toss until the pasta and chicken are coated in the creamy Alfredo sauce.
- Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve hot.
