- Stale bread - 200 grams

- Cut the bread into chunks and place in a large bowl.
- Cut the tomatoes into chunks and add to the bowl.
- Peel and slice the cucumber and add to the bowl.
- Peel and thinly slice the onion and add to the bowl.
- Tear the basil leaves and add to the bowl.
- Drizzle the olive oil and vinegar over the salad.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Toss the salad well and let it sit for 20 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
