Paneer Tikka
Paneer Tikka is a popular Indian dish made from cubes of paneer marinated in spices and grilled in a tandoor.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Bell pepper - 1, cut into cubes
- Onion - 1, cut into cubes
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - To taste
- Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Yogurt - 1 cup
- Paneer - 200 grams, cubed
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, mix together the yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt.
- Add the paneer cubes to the marinade and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Heat the oil in a grill pan over medium heat.
- Thread the marinated paneer cubes, onion, and bell pepper onto skewers.
- Grill the skewers on the pan, turning occasionally, until the paneer is golden and the vegetables are cooked.
- Serve the paneer tikka hot with mint chutney.
