Let's Get Started

  1. Pat the scallops dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the scallops and sear for about 2 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Stir in the lemon juice and fresh herbs. Cook for another minute.
  6. Return the scallops to the skillet and spoon the sauce over them. Cook for another minute, until the scallops are coated in the sauce.
  7. Serve the scallops with the herb butter sauce.
