Shrimp Scampi Pasta
This delicious shrimp scampi pasta is made with succulent shrimp, garlic, butter, white wine, and served over a bed of linguine pasta.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Parmesan cheese - 1/4 cup, grated
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- White wine - 1/2 cup
- Butter - 4 tablespoons
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Shrimp - 1 pound, peeled and deveined
- Linguine pasta - 8 ounces
Let's Get Started
- Cook the linguine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through.
- Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- Pour the white wine and lemon juice into the skillet. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.
- Add the cooked linguine pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss to combine with the pasta.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
