Pad Thai Pizza
A fusion of Thai and Italian cuisines, this Pad Thai Pizza combines the flavors of traditional Pad Thai with the crispy crust of a pizza.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Lime wedges - 4
- Cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Peanuts - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Pad thai sauce - 1/4 cup
- Eggs - 2, beaten
- Green onions - 4, sliced
- Carrots - 1, julienned
- Bean sprouts - 1 cup
- Shrimp - 1/2 cup, cooked and peeled
- Chicken breast - 1, cooked and shredded
- Peanut oil - 2 tablespoons
- Pizza dough - 1 pound
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 425°F.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Heat the peanut oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chicken, shrimp, bean sprouts, carrots, and green onions to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are tender and the chicken and shrimp are heated through.
- Push the ingredients to one side of the skillet and pour the beaten eggs into the other side. Scramble the eggs until cooked.
- Spread the Pad Thai sauce evenly over the pizza dough.
- Top the sauce with the cooked chicken, shrimp, vegetables, and scrambled eggs.
- Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the pizza from the oven and sprinkle with chopped peanuts and cilantro.
- Serve the Pad Thai Pizza with lime wedges on the side.
