Let's Get Started

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and chopped Thai bird's eye chili. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add ground chicken and cook until it is no longer pink, breaking it up into small pieces.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together oyster sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar. Pour the sauce mixture into the wok and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add Thai holy basil leaves and stir-fry until wilted.
  6. Remove from heat and serve the Pad Kra Pao over steamed rice.
  7. Optional: Top each serving with a fried egg for added richness and flavor.
