Onion Dosa

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  3. Add sliced onions, green chili, and curry leaves. Sauté until onions turn golden brown.
  4. Add salt to taste and mix well.
  5. Heat a dosa tawa or non-stick pan over medium heat.
  6. Pour a ladleful of dosa batter onto the center of the tawa and spread it in a circular motion to form a thin dosa.
  7. Drizzle some oil around the edges of the dosa and on top.
  8. Spread a spoonful of the sautéed onion mixture evenly on top of the dosa.
  9. Cook until the dosa turns golden brown and crispy on the bottom.
  10. Flip the dosa and cook for another minute on the other side.
  11. Serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
