Onion and Pepper Steak Sandwich

Let's Get Started

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet and sauté until they are soft and slightly caramelized, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. Remove the onions and peppers from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Season the thinly sliced steak with salt and pepper.
  5. In the same skillet, cook the steak slices for 2-3 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
  6. Place the provolone cheese slices on top of the cooked steak slices and allow them to melt.
  7. Toast the hoagie rolls until lightly golden.
  8. Assemble the sandwiches by layering the steak with melted cheese, sautéed onions, and peppers on the toasted hoagie rolls.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
