Ojingeochae Muchim
Ojingeochae Muchim is a Korean side dish made with dried shredded squid, seasoned with a spicy and tangy sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Toasted sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 2, thinly sliced
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Gochujang (korean red pepper paste) - 2 tablespoons
- Dried shredded squid - 200g
Let's Get Started
- Soak the dried shredded squid in cold water for 10 minutes to rehydrate.
- Drain the squid and squeeze out any excess water.
- In a bowl, mix together the gochujang, soy sauce, sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and sliced green onions.
- Add the rehydrated squid to the sauce mixture and toss until well coated.
- Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds before serving.
