Num Kroch
Num Kroch is a traditional Cambodian dessert made with rice flour and coconut milk.
Ingredients - Serves 6
- Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Water - 1/2 cup
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Sugar - 1/2 cup
- Coconut milk - 1 cup
- Rice flour - 1 cup
Let's Get Started
- In a mixing bowl, combine the rice flour, coconut milk, sugar, salt, and water. Mix well until smooth.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and add the vegetable oil.
- Pour a small amount of the batter into the pan, swirling it around to form a thin pancake.
- Cook for about 2 minutes, or until the edges start to crisp up.
- Flip the pancake and cook for another 2 minutes on the other side.
- Repeat with the remaining batter to make more pancakes.
- Once all the pancakes are cooked, roll them up and slice into bite-sized pieces.
- Serve the Num Kroch pieces sprinkled with grated coconut.
