Let's Get Started

  1. In a large saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, and vanilla extract. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and cornstarch until smooth.
  3. Slowly pour the hot milk mixture into the egg mixture, whisking constantly.
  4. Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and coats the back of a spoon.
  5. Pour the mixture into serving dishes and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
