  1. Cut the chiverre squash in half and remove the seeds. Cook in boiling water until soft. Drain and let cool.
  2. Once the squash is cool, shred it and mix with the sugar, cinnamon, cloves, and lemon zest. Cook over low heat until it becomes a thick jam.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, butter, eggs, and salt. Knead until a dough forms.
  4. Roll out the dough and cut into circles. Place a spoonful of the chiverre jam in the center of each circle.
  5. Fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges with a fork.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
