Let's Get Started

  1. Heat 1/2 cup of ghee in a pan and add the gram flour. Roast it on low flame until it turns aromatic.
  2. In another pan, add sugar and water. Stir it on medium flame until the sugar dissolves completely.
  3. Keep stirring the sugar syrup until it reaches a one-string consistency.
  4. Now, slowly add the roasted gram flour to the sugar syrup while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  5. Add the remaining ghee gradually and keep stirring the mixture.
  6. When the mixture starts leaving the sides of the pan, turn off the flame and pour the mixture into a greased tray.
  7. Let it cool for a while and then cut it into desired shapes.
  8. Delicious Mysore Pak is ready to be served.
