Let's Get Started

  1. Grind the soaked and peeled almonds into a fine paste.
  2. In a pan, add sugar and water and heat until the sugar dissolves completely.
  3. Add the almond paste to the sugar syrup and mix well. Cook on low heat until the mixture thickens.
  4. Add the cardamom powder and mix well.
  5. Grease a tray with ghee and pour the mixture into it. Spread it evenly with a spatula.
  6. Allow it to cool and then cut into desired shapes.
  7. Garnish with silver leaf if desired. Badam Ki Jaali is ready to serve.
