Badam Ki Jaali
Badam Ki Jaali is a traditional Hyderabadi dessert made with almonds and sugar. It is a rich and delicious sweet treat that is often served at weddings and special occasions.

- Silver leaf - For garnishing (optional)
- Ghee - For greasing
- Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Water - 1/2 cup
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Almonds - 1 cup, soaked and peeled
Let's Get Started
- Grind the soaked and peeled almonds into a fine paste.
- In a pan, add sugar and water and heat until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Add the almond paste to the sugar syrup and mix well. Cook on low heat until the mixture thickens.
- Add the cardamom powder and mix well.
- Grease a tray with ghee and pour the mixture into it. Spread it evenly with a spatula.
- Allow it to cool and then cut into desired shapes.
- Garnish with silver leaf if desired. Badam Ki Jaali is ready to serve.
