Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Marinate the chicken with yogurt, lemon juice, turmeric, garam masala, and chili powder. Set aside for at least 2 hours.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until it is fully cooked. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, melt the remaining butter. Add the onion, garlic, and ginger, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
  4. Add the tomato puree and cook for a few minutes until it thickens.
  5. Add the cooked chicken to the pan and mix well. Cook for a few more minutes.
  6. Stir in the cream and season with salt. Cook for a few more minutes until the sauce is thick and creamy.
  7. Serve the Murgh Makhani with naan or rice.
